    The "Hawaiian Range"

Arrives in the club shop as everyone is returning back to the UK after their summer holidays for the start of the new season. Another excellent marketing strategy...

I haven't even been on holibobs yet, let alone coming back.

              Cheers, Jim

Most clothing retailers get their seasonal gear available for sale months in advance of the particular season they're aiming for. For instance many shops are currently selling off their summer ranges in sales to make room for their autumn and winter ranges. A classic example of this is how supermarkets, for instance, immediately put their "back to school" signs up with basic uniform items available as soon as the kids break up for their holibobs.

Yep if you go into a shop now they are selling winter clothes. Hawaiian shirts probably go on sale around March time generally.

                      Or even before.

It’s a very colourful range, and Pelly is the right person to model it.

Most massive football fans maybe take their Summer holiday in June/July, before the football season starts.

The merchandising/retail side of the club is no better than when we were in The Conference.
