If we think about our squad, Chong ,marv, Alfie ect we are in a really good place and player for player out first time is awesome and would cost plenty of for sale.
Really obvious we need a cm and another defender as a minimum with what's gone out

Also defiantly a good time to play Burnley and Pompey as they have new players and I would assume at least Burnley would be top 4 material

As long as mengi is not out on sat we will be ok , let's hope it was risk averse on Saturday.if he is out the lack of cb is my only worry and of course remember the manager kidology perhaps anders and burky are fit for sat

'anagrams'? You've lost me. Maybe I am from Newark.

It was a gag, anyway, on the unnecessary explanation of things. Of which I appreciate the irony.

That’s the sort my elder brother used to wear. They look decently Dubbined.

Puma Kings were THE boots to be worn when I was growing up. Only the posh kids could afford them though. I had to make do with a pair of Hi-Techs which was fine as Steve McMahon wore them and even though I hated Liverpool I thought he was a class act.

It’s funny how it goes though. As I was growing up I had different ones in different sizes, adidas, ASICS, new balance and hi tec, and probably more.

The ASICS were awful but the most expensive of the lot. The hi tec were the best.

Don’t think I ever had puma.

It’s all marketing. Never had gola though. I did have a pair of Patrick rugby boots gave me blisters so big I contemplated asking for a heel amputation. But they probably didn’t fit.

As a kid I can only remember 3 pairs of boots that I had, those Hi-Tech ones, a pair of Adidas ones and some Reeboks. I must have had several pairs though with growing get etc through teenage years. By the time I got to 16+ a d my feet stopped growing I pretty much only had Umbro or Adidas boots depending on stud configuration and how hard the pitches I played on were likely to be.

That's a definite glass half full approach Ceri. There might be things the average fan doesn't know but based on what we do I think the lack of cover and recoveries is a big concern .Mick and his team are probably working flat out on this.

Unfortunately moving to Everton I was close to my homeland and I found my love of Welsh cakes again so I wouldn't be fit enough trust in the young boy who can play young Johnson is definitely gd enough
