If true this is an absolute disgrace. Will look even worse when Brentford/Bournemouth poach Adebayo late in the window to replace Toney/Solanke.

I really hope there are a few rabbits in the hats of the recruitment team

Disappointing, but cant prevent/blame the boy from wanting to play and hopefully only let him go when someone "better" is brought in to replace him.

Urgh, the meltdown if this is confirmed before that happens will be monumental!

Meltdown, as in allowing a highly promising goalscorer to leave before the window closes??

And before Brown, who has been injured since early February, has had some game time.

But, lets all mock everyone who can probably see some risk in this decision.

Better than allowing him to leave after the window closes. Looks like we’d be getting someone else in if he does go. It’d be a shame not to see him really show what he can do in a Luton shirt though.

Think he played 45 mins pre season abroad..20 mins the other day..seemed to be a bit lost at port Vale...so maybe his future is elsewhere..

The real irony here is that best we have looked in pre-season was against the Turkish team when Taylor and McAtee ran riot for 15 minutes when we were 3-0 down, creating two goals for Nelson and also a chance he should have converted for an equaliser.

Tbf that's bollocks. We looked best v Dundee in the first 45. The defence is the problem.

Luton getting a striker in first is supposedly why the deal hasn’t been signed.

Really doesn't make sense to me. Look at the squad list Sangrounder did earlier. We're stacked in forward positions, yet are going to spend money on another forward while letting a promising striker leave?

The rumour is Taylor wants game time, fair enough, so anyone we sign to replace him is going to be backup. Absolute waste of money when we're so short in other areas

Until players are signed we will not know their positions,at the moment it's speculation or diversionary tactics

Seems odd as he played friendly and surely we won't loose maceer and Taylor.

We dont need to sell and we are short on fit player. He offers different to first choices

Although I would imagine a prove L1 scorer is worth around 500k upwards doesn't make sense
