        Why would he come to Luton from Cov? People need to remember who we are. One season in the Premiership doesn't make you a big club. We need to be plucking talent from the lower half of the Champ and top of L1, not thinking we can get stars from our promotion rivals.

          I would assume the point is that there are/were numerous media reports linking him with us towards the end of last season. Or, to be fair, giving us first refusal on talks.

          And why would he come to us? Thete are numerous reasons. Why did Barkley come to us? Townsend, Morris, Chong, Doughty etc.
