Celta dominated for the last 15 in the first half, after they scored...before that we had a lot of possession without any clear cut chances...
Second half was a lot brighter from us, started on the front foot and continued to build, set pieces giving us our best opportunities to score...the subs changed the momentum a little..Pelly gifted them a goal, but it was a chance well taken and their third their player seemed unmarked to head in...

I felt the scoreline flattered them a little at the end...technically, movement, passing and ball skills they showed some neat exchanges and you could see why they are in the top Spanish League...friendlies are difficult to gauge as it would have been a much tougher game had it been a league match and we probably would have got something from the game, who knows...not that bad, just another training session out of the way...

Possibly nearer relegation than promotion I fear

Players with track records of setbacks in their recovery. I think it will realistically be a mid table finish on current squad

Players that have been coming back for ages. Where are they? Some have clearly had pretty serious injuries, will they be the same when they do return?

That’s the attitude we like to see

Telling it as I see it. Still too many individual mistakes. Whilst accepting our defence is largely injured, the back up is just not good enough. Lots of side to side and back passing, loads of possession but not troubling other keepers enough.

Youngsters getting the last 7 minutes won’t change that.
