Is it too much to ask…

… that people who have an agendum unrelated to the purpose of this board find an appropriate vehicle for their bollocks that is not this one? The ‘rules’ are not many, but don’t be surprised when your bullshit is removed, then come back and whine because it was confined to the cesspit in which belongs. It’s bad enough tolerating some of the bullshit that IS about football and LTFC. 🙄

I’m not 100% convinced there is a desire for a board that only allows football talk BUT if that went some way to ‘cleaning house’ and getting rid of some of the trolls then maybe it’s a route to look at, at least temporarily!! It’s a big ask of admin and wouldn’t be popular with some but an instant delete to any thread that was not focussed on football / ltfc would be a nuclear approach that could just save this board longer term. That would include the instant deletion of posts moaning about deletions etc etc, it would need to be zero tolerance with no favouritism whatsoever! would point out I’m not moaning about the board I’m just giving an idea, the constant trolling, people moaning about posts and accusing each other of being trolls IS tedious but if I chose to come on and contribute to the board I do so in the knowledge that I will have to wade through plenty of shite to find the worthwhile stuff!

I understand it is reasonable for msg board ‘mates’ to have a bit of banter and some subjects like fnimn help to pass the time of day but not many on here need to be bombarded with extremist politics and suchlike and at no point should people be abused if taking an opposing view to another poster.

I’d say that’s a more than reasonable point of view, fingers crossed something will happen to make this board reflect those sort of ambitions
