Let them close the plant in Luton it wont be the end of the world, they closed the Vauxhall plant in Luton in 2001 and Luton survived, anyway for whatís itís worth I have a few mates who in IBC for Stellantis and they are the worst shower of cunts to work for that has ever been, no toilet reliefs are allowed you have to work your jobs back on the conveyor like a blue arse fly and then run to the toilet for a very quick piss , itís a fuckin joke in this day and age that you are not entitled to a basic human right like a toilet relief , also no first aid room they treat people in the fuckin rest area very embarrassing especially for women I would say, these Stellantis bastards donít give a fuck about people or there health all they care about is get the jobs out and make ,so as far as I am concerned good riddance to the bastards I hope the close.

Blimey, you are getting desperate, you really are. Theyíll make whatever decision suits their shareholders. As do the water companies.

So you think the announcement has nothing to do with the election next week, maybe you should have read the article all the clues are there. Starmer will have to make a decision if he can remember how.

The part about government policy been stupid was accurate.

              Did you miss that part?

Whatever decision he makes if elected, the Express/GB News/Reform militia will give him no credit for it. Private companies suit themselves as they always have done. All about the money. No different, as we have found out, in football and business circles.

A lot of wealth & investment has already departed these shores and this will rocket if the polls are correct. 🙁

That's 14 years of Tory corruption and Brexit for you, pal. The tide ain't going to turn any time soon, whoever gets elected.

Are you seriously trying to blame Labour if Stellantis pull out despite, as you already concede, this process is already under way under a tory government - who the article suggests won't change their policy if re-elected and oversaw brexit!!!!!

I laid no blame whatsoever Godders but I am amused that you have immediately jumped to that very conclusion!

The article I read was basically ď roll back the ban on petrol & diesel to beyond 2035 or we are off.
Nothing to do with either Labour or Conservatives but Labour will have to make the decision. Imo 2035 is to soon and if they donít do it now they will have to do it nearer the time. Also like many not convinced electric is the answer.

Stellantis going bust. The bet on EV sales and the consumer doesn't want expensive / crap useless vehicles.
Even musk is desperate to move away from EV's - "we are a software company" and other statements.
