    Genuine question for voters

Posted by deeuu on 23/6/2024, 9:00:52

Do you vote tactically, or are you voting locally?

    How will you vote
     Tactically for a change
Locally, my MP regardless of bigger picture

Where's the option for just voting who you genuinely want to win irrespective of their realistic chances?

A difficult question. In Mid Bedfordshire, both candidates from the parties I am considering nationally (Labour and Lib Dem) I now find since Iíve received my postal vote live outside the constituency, and frankly weíve had enough of absent MPs. The Labour bloke who was voted in less than a year ago has buggered off to Hitchin. The Green bcandidate lives in Toddington so perhaps it will have to be them

Andrew Selous lives in Markyate, as far as I know.

Part of the mid beds constituency has been transferred to Hitchin under the boundary changes.. I don't know whether that explains why the labour bloke voted in to replace Doris is contesting the latter.

His hometown is in the new Hitchin constituency, which is why he's contesting that one instead of mid beds.

Given I've never done that in the past, it's very doubtful I'll do it in the future.
