I went with my brother to Luton v Nlackpool 1976 , we won 3-0 and Ricky Hill made his debut, I was hooked ! Facts are probably all wrong but this is how I remember it

My uncle took me along. Couldn't have been more than 6 or 7 and sat in the main stand. Don't remember much about it. Old man took me a few times where I stood in the old Kenilworth Road terrace, back in the day when both away and home fans were mixed. Wasn't until the late 70s when I started going on my own, home and away. Never attracted by the lure of the big clubs unlike many of my mates at the time. Proud Lutonian, even though I'm now exiled. Try to get over to as many games as I can, but more difficult to get tickets now that our support has grown. Good to see the club fulfilling the potential I always knew it had.

Grew up in Silsoe then Stoneygate Rd.
My dad took me to a few Scum games when I was about 5.
My Grandad and Uncle (Lutonians) heard about this and insisted on taking me to KR. Initially stood in the Bobbers with my Grandad but then my uncle took me to the middle of the Oak Road, on his shoulders, with his skinhead mates.
            Never looked back.

Aged 9, had no interest in football, but for some reason asked my dad if I could go with him to watch us v Posh in LC round 1 in 1969. The result was a 5-2 win and I was hooked.

Same game for me. Am answering in a different way though as I have little memory of 1964. Been going since 1964 with Dad but he was working nights at Vauxhall the Boro game. So I asked my parents if I could go on my own. They agreed. Walked down through Peoples Park, Cromwell Hill & Road in the light but I had strict instructions to run to the number 28 bus stop at ft. Remember Collingdon street being dark as few houses but the bus was on time. Then ran from Richmond Hill home. So looking back thatís my first memory of having that urge to go, no matter what. Supporting Luton was the default at the time - no money to get a train to that there London & no car. Made friends standing at the gate of the Bobbers then the 67/68 team arrived 😁

Old man was born 15 mins from ground and was never supporting anyone else. Loved standing up to all the Scouse fans in the playground in Bedfordshire in the 80s as we turned them over at home. I pity the number of yoof who choose a big team with zero affinity despite they win a lot. My lad will be Luton and carry on the legacy.

My Dad took me to see Luton in 1948 from Bletchley driving his Austin 7.
I remember my first match was watched from behind the Oak Road stand and we kids were lifted by numerous men and allowed to sit on the ground by the side of the goal.
When we left the ground various residents in the terraced houses would ask us the results.
Since those times I have always been a Hatter travelling all over the country for many years taking Ray Lelliot and his mates to games,
Sadly I am no longer a Season Ticket holder and at nearly 80 years of age have been unable to get tickets for my beloved Kenny.
I did manage to get to Brentford and Palace and hope to get to The Kenny this year to celebrate my 80th in August.
To those of you who are younger, continue to enjoy the beat team in the UK and I hope that you get the same Highs and Lows that I have experienced. COYH.

When I was a kid, mid 1950s, we used to live in Conway Road, next door but one to Town skipper Syd Owen. (Often in the afternoons - presumably after he'd got home from training - there'd be an upsidedown No 5 shirt hanging on the Owen washing line).
His daughter was a bit older than me and her name was Pat (she also attended Maidenhall School along with a couple of other kids in the road, JR and RK And we all used to attend each other's birthday parties etc.)
Syd left the club for a coaching job at Leeds circa 61/62, and eventually daughter Pat became either Mrs Peter Lorimer or Mrs Eddie Gray (I forget which of those two).

My step dad who was an absolute cunt, took me to my first game 1969/70 it was the only thing he ever did that was any good.
Remember being in the bobbers bar knee high to everyone, and then walking out and seeing the pitch which as an 8yr old looked massive.

Malcolm Mcdonald, and Graham French were my heroes.

I was waiting for someone to do this.

For me it was my late old man who was born in the L&D and grew up on Pomgret Avenue on Hart Hill. My elderly brother was also born at the L&D but by the time my sister, me and my younger brother were born our parents has moved up to Derbyshire. Ironically when my dad luced down here he wasn't into football at all as he wore glasses from a young age. But I loved football as a kid so he started taking us to away games at Derby, Forest etc as well as visits to KR when we came down to Luton to visit my grandma (dads mum).

Essentially it's a family thing that I've passed onto my kids too.

I'd been a bit of a spurs fan until my dad took me to my first luton game.
1994 Luton v West Brom - both keepers stretchered off, 2 players sent off for fighting and we won 3-2. What a game!
                                  Forever Luton from that point.

You nearly had to wait a bit longer for your first game. Paul Danson was under a lot of pressure to call that game off because the pitch was waterlogged in places after it had been watered despite heavy rain.

It was a busy week with another game, at Bolton, two days later and then Stoke away on the Sunday. On the Wednesday between the West Brom and Bolton games, it was the kit sponsors' dinner. Physio Andy McDaid "had words" (to put it mildly) when the players were served prawns as part of the starter the night before a game.

First game on my own was Luton v Derby in Junior Hatters section in the Oak. Got the bus from the West Side and there was a massive scrap between Luton skins and Derby skins at the bus station.

Good game, that. Last time we were able to stand on Kenilworth Road end.

I started going in 1986, and we were a bit special then. Not surprising that a 9 year old was instantly hooked when we were taking on and beating all the top sides in the country.

I was 9yrs old back then and my Dad - who oddly enough was working in Liverpool - drove back after working the morning and had promised me he'd take me to a first division match as it was now on the doorstep. We just made the kick-off.

No family connections to Luton I'll add as they were all Londoners. It's stayed with me for life.

My dad, grandad and brother used to go, and I always looked out for the scores and wanted us to win.
Apart from a couple of matches in my late teens, I didnít go to any until after my dad died in 2008 and left me some money, I bought a season ticket to help the club out, and went to as many games as possible, bearing in mind family commitments. And Iíve continued to have a season ticket, and rarely miss games now.

First match at home to Barrow in 1967. Won 3:1. The next season was the start of a promotion winning side. Hooked ever since.

Lived in Bedford and taken by friends to home games in the mid 1940's. Always put over the barriers on the pitch side. When I got older I went on my own often on my bike from Bedford to support the Hatters. Live away now and 88 this year so doubt I will ever get to see them again. I do watch most games on my PC though. It would be great to achieve the new ground which should bring more revenue in.
