Why invite only one religion and not all who live local to ground ...these kids all play together on street so some wouldn't be to happy seeing their friends invited to go on potch etc and not them ?

It makes sense they'd have a relationship with the club.
Non-Muslims have abandoned the area, and by and large refuse to have anything to do with it, calling it all kinds of racist and derogatory names.
If you look at the demographics and schools, Islam is the future of Luton, and the club should do everything possible to embrace the beliefs of those closest to it.

Iím not saying the club shouldnít be reaching out to the Muslim community, but have you forgotten the Roman Catholic Church in Westbourne Road, the Calvary Church of God in Christ in Dunstable Road, Beech Hill Methodist Church, and the United Reform church in Bury Park Road?

Luton Town FC is a big part of Stopsley and they therefore, provide us with a lot of benefits that are only available for Stopsley children.

                  These benefits include...

Stadium visits throughout the school academic year
                  Afternoon 1st team player visits
Participation into partnership schools tournament and festivals
                  Mascot visits
LTFC at our annual school fete and other fundraising events (use of their inflatable dart board and inflatable goal whenever our children need a reward!)

Why does it not have a place in today's society?

Religion, or belief, isn't the problem, as by and large each religion's core beliefs both unify and are rooted in compassion and love for others, it is how mis-represented it by others to forward their own agendas.

Why do you should religion be banned or have no place in today's society?

The only possible explanation I can think of is due to misunderstandings and misuse, which is exactly the same as virtually everything else like the Internet, social media, football matches, music festivals etc.

Islam plays a massively important role in culture and identity of Luton. It's a huge shame how often it's misrepresented with outright lies and racism.
As the spiritual strength of Christianity wanes and struggles to find purpose in the modern world, it's nice to see Islam picking up the torch, and that there's those still in Luton who care about community, values, and standards.
