    EFL TV deal

Posted by PHS on 12/6/2024, 15:41:47

I'm still undecided about continuing my away ST given that we can only decline 3 matches and understand that at least 6 away games are likely to be live TV broadcasts. Being able to decline 6 or 7 tickets would make more sense IMO!

I believe that the live TV games up until Christmas are supposed to be planned well in advance and will not not subject to late changes.
Does that mean the fixture list will show the correct dates and KO times when they are first published?

Or is it more likely that they will be published showing Saturday 3pm KOs that could well be changed later?

No doubt late amendments will become the norm after the new year as the league positions develop and Sky want top-of-the-table clashes.

    Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure that the date & time of every single game until Christmas will be announced before the start of the season. Not sure how it will work in the new year

Yes, I agree. This is the first time in years I think the TO have got things wrong. It was 5 or 6 declines last time we were in the championship
And it sounds like kick off times are going to be messed around more than ever this coming season.

I'm sure that TO posted that they would probably be a bit more flexible where games are moved for TV.
