Must say been impressed. Well done for the BBC coming to Luton and setting this all up, will only do good for the town.
Hopefully the council can start to do some more regular stuff like this up at Stockwood.

I've been to both days so far. An incredibly impressive event, volunteers have been amazing. Saturday much better than Friday, musically imo. Will try and grab a Sunday ticket but not that easy to find.

“Never anything to do in Luton”

“No, not that kind of thing to do”

I was thinking about this earlier. The amount of exposure and positivity around the town in the last 12 months… I certainly can’t think of a period of time in living memory where this has happened. These sort of things don’t happen here.

Going to get even bigger tomorrow - Coldplay are obviously huge. Heck they’ve headlined the Super Bowl ffs. Now they’re at Stockwood!

And why is that? Luton Town FC. Getting to that promised land. They have been the main driver. Kudos for the council for having the balls for going in for something like this.

I’d love to see something like this maybe every couple of years. Call the event “Stockwood” or something. Even if it has to be subsidised by the airport and/or cancel at least initially. It brings an incredible amount of exposure to the town.

Absolutely agree that maybe an annual or bi-annual event at Stcokwood would be absolutelty fantastic.
There is a definaite vibe around the town.
I have watched most of this on TV and have just gone along with the flow, but every act that I have watched have been top notch even if it isnt my kind of music.
              Love the dance tent tho.
In a few years time we have the Ryder Cup coming to Luton Hoo, unless theyve cancled it, that will be also fantastic for the town.
With a bit of application the council could do a lot more on this type of thing.
Once PC is here the whole of the town is going to be so different.

Coldplay might’ve played at the Super Bowl, but they’ll never have witnessed two grown men waiting for them at the artists entrance with armfuls of memorabilia to sign
