Ipswich fans must be feeling pretty odd....

they go straight through the championship to the premier league, only to appear very likely theyll lose the manager that got them there.

I find it an odd decision from McKenna as well. Not sure what rush he has to move so soon?

If Ipswich get relegated then his stock will go down. It sounds like he currently has the pick of Chelsea, Brighton, Man Utd. Might not be the case this time next year.

(Although Kompany seems to be doing ok despite making a fiasco of Burnley's season).

He'll move wherever he's paid the most/for the longest, same as every player/manager in pretty much every single scenario.

all ive read is that he can basically take his pick. Brighton, Chelsea, Utd etc etc

He'd be mad to go to Chelsea or United . . . well career-wise. I'm sure his wallet would do okay out of it.

Brighton though, he could see that as a step up.

But after the time he really could stay, he's building something there.

Can't see him going to Brighton, they seem to run a system where you are very much just the coach, and any other decisions are nothing to do with you.
Obviously one of the bigger clubs might make him a financial offer he feels he can't turn down

Again... He will go wherever he's paid the most. People read too much into it.

Alternative ways to live your life are possible.

Chasing personal wealth is what has brought this current government down.

Kieran will be better staying out and building his reputation rather become another Potter.

He cant turn the chance down imo. Same as if Edwards gets a bigger gig. Might only get one chance.

                          Ipswich pay him handsomely.

                          Why become a Jones?

Id say Ipswich have a better chance next season than Brighton do.

They will spend serious money this summer.

He,ll go where he thinks hes got the best chance to progress his career. Same as every other player and manager.
He wont think ooh what if I get the sack , hell think I can go in here and make a success of it.
