    Loan players next season

This could well be the way to go. It worked for Forest and Burnley in winning promotion from the championship.
Up to five are allowed in the matchday squad, but more can be registered.
Seems crazy, but those are the rules.
I think many premier clubs would see us as a good destination for their youngsters based on this seasons performances.

I agree with that, RE has been sweet talking the Prem managers this season so hopefully get a few good ones in. Might be late in the window though so early squad might be a bit thin

Have you thought about emailing the club. Maybe they’ve never considered getting players in on loan.

You sir, are an extremely clever man.

I agree to a point, but at the end of the day, we’re developing someone else’s asset and we wouldn’t see any upside (apart from league position of course) if they did well.

I’d argue that a loaned club should get 1% of the future sales revenue for every 30 days in receipt of a player. Never going to happen though!

The 'developing someone else's asset' argument goes out the window when you can achieve PL with it. You're not a businessman are you? The loaning club always has the upper hand, it's the destination club who is in need so why on God's green earth should they also hand over equity in their player. FFS.

But then we also send players out on loan as well.

I think it was Nathan Jones who said he hated having loan players as a general rule precisely for those reasons.

Target no 1 has to be Obi from Arsenal.
