        Have you seen an U11s corner routine? Just smack it across and hope for the best. The number of headers in youth football is pretty low anyway.
        I don't mind this rule at all. It's a trial, so if it affects games they can roll it back but I really don't think it will affect matches negatively.
        One thing I have noticed is some youth teams don't practice corners or set pieces (apart from direct free kick shots) at all in training, just for the head trauma reasons.

          Really? My lads teams worked on corners from an early age.
          Regards headers, this is a stupid idea. All you'll get is 11 year old not being able to head a ball properly and it'll hurt.

            Same here. My son is top scorer for his team u16 as a centre half. Bit of a Laurent Blanc! Taller than others so gets a headed goal a game almost 😄

              They’re only banning it for Primary School age kids. After that they can knock themselves out as much as they want.
