Sheff U at home and Muff away

    Cost us big?

Not really, we beat them both as well.

We've conceded too many late goals, as a result of us trying to score another. The proper Luton way.

Not Sheffield Utd for me - we never looked on it from the word go in that game. Muff, Liverpool, and the Arse are the standouts. 6 points that we really had in the bag…

Agree 100%, definitely 6 points thrown away there, I'd add Newcastle to that too.
We panic and just can't see the game out.

          Also
          Burnley at home
          Newcastle away
          Fulham away
          Tottenham at home
          Wolves at home

Id also add arsenal and Liverpool at home, two games that we weren't expected or expecting to get anything from and really could've had 4 points from rather than 1.

A lot of people thought we'd get a result against one of the big boys at home but it hasn't happy, which is why they're giving us praise

          A lot of people

thats the frustrating thing. Were probabaly a good 7-9 points shy of what we could/shoud have had.

Even offseting our own late goals at Burnley, Palace and home to Bournemouth. Im left with a sense of what could have been.

You have missed the two most significant late goals. Without the late goal at home and late goals away against Forest, we would be way behind them.

                You're right, they were vital.

But this is the thing for me, with a bit more nous (and perhaps tactical experience at this level) we'd be, if not safe, then very close to it

yep, agreed. Some quite naive tactics i thought, Bournemouth away the most obvious one. I think that was the game that really knocked the stuffing out of us, as youŽd expect. IŽm not sure we really recovered

I don't understand why so many on here (or just you under multiple names) resort to such shit reductive comments like that.

It's a football message board, people will use it to discuss football. Edwards has forgotten more about football than I've known, doesn't mean he gets everything right

I'm not saying I've got it, but our second half tactics at Bournemouth and when we went ahead against Newcastle were stupid.

                    Yes forgot about that one.

Kabores inability to defend the back post in a lot of these results...

Agree with all of the above although think we were still new to the game with Fulham away and don't think a loss there was unreasonable.

Given the way we fought back against Chelsea we could have got something from that game if not for the atrocious defending first half.

I honestly can't believe the people that say about signing Kabore long term. If it wasn't for the injury crisis he should never have started again after passing it directly to Palmer in that game. He directly lost us so many points this season from basic individual errors.

I like Kabore and think there is a player there if he can figure out runners to the back post

Definitely a player in there. Many forget his young age and his real first season at this level.

And in the meantime while he tries to figure out these runners, he keeps giving away goals and we finish up near relegation again.

I would imagine that all teams fans will be looking back at missed opportunity, at the top, as well as the bottom of the table.

                                  Indeed.

I'm sure both Liverpool and Notts Forest supporters are bemoaning all the penalties they didn't get.
