    Staying Up

Arsenal's last gasp winner. 3 up against Muff.

    Arrrrgggghhhhh

      Let’s be honest

Had we not had the spine of the team Injured the last few months then we would have had much more points.

That’s what’s made the difference and will cost unfortunately.
A lot of teams have injury crisis, but nothing bad as ours.

Added time crystal clear handball against West Ham no pen VAR fiasco has haunted me ever since it happened.

Against that, our last gasp winner against Bournemouth, our last gasp equaliser against Palace, our last gasp draw at Burnley and, most importantly, our last minute comebacks to get draws home and away (from two down with seven minutes to play) against Forest.

Those points are on the board...I'm talking about an extra 3 points we could of had from those 2 games..

Do you use a capital letter with the word "div"? I wouldn't have thought so. I reckon The Outsider would know though, as he's the greatest mind on Outlaws.

              You fucking div.

Incredible, isn't it? Immediately defaults to personal attacks in the face of a mild riposte.

3 points? Why not 4 points (holding on for draw v Arsenal and holding onto the lead against Bournemouth). Or 2 points (drawing with both). An extra 3 points assumes winning against Bournemouth or Arsenal and losing the other game. So maybe holding on v Bournemouth but still conceding the 97th minute winner v Arsenal. Is that what you meant?

Yep draws with forest where their goals were scored by Chris wood, who was a signing they made well after they had spent way way more than they should have under FFP.

Imo it’s not an unreasonable argument to suggest that this is a 6 point swing from overspending alone (if we win both those game we have 4 more points and them 2 less) so all things considered they’re quids in against us alone.

They’ll all be moaning if (and it’s a big if) we do catch them, but I’d argue we should be a minimum of 1 point behind now, not 3. That’s without considering the advantage they got against the other 18 teams.

I have made this point to Forest fans several times but they argue that he was signed in January on a loan with an obligation to buy, not an option. I can't see that the obligation could have forced them to buy him before 1 July as his contract didn't end until 30 June.

Yes so they know they have to spend that money so are they saying they didn't spend any other money in addition between agreeing that deal and the FFP cut off point?

Irrelevant and a Shit arguement because they’re breaking the rules again this season.

I await the same nonsense next year when they once again claim the Brennan johnson transfer as mitigation.

I hope we can but it’s going to be difficult and against West Ham we just have to go for it and hope forest lose against Chelsea . I wish all the lads the best of luck I don’t want us to be back in the championship.
