I thought we were having a Power Cut very underwhelming
They tried to do something different, it proved to be a waste of time, money, effort. My guess is that they won't repeat it and come up with some other idea, and that could then be a wow. If you don't try anything new, you fail anyway
They were probably trying it out because a design feature of Power Court is the lighting and that it makes such things possible. I can't believe a few flashing lights have so many people so worked up.
And yes it was pretty naff but I don't have an issue with it personally.
You can't believe a few flashing lights have people worked up? Perhaps because it's the kind of stunt that other poncey clubs do. Not Luton. We've stood apart from modern football all thrse years and now we've become just another cog in it. It really is quite sad. Have you ever heard any fellow luton fan suggest a pre game light show? I haven't. We did it because others do. And that's a slippery road any proper Luton supporter should not want us to go down.
How on Earth does everything this club has done over the last few years get turned around by a couple of minutes of flashing lights? Does that really overturn all of our achievements on the pitch, the way that the fans have been, the living wage achievement, the turning down of dubious sponsorship and everything else????
Despite having it explained to you, you hark back to discarding it as a few flashing lights. There is no point in continuing this conversation when you refuse to look at the bigger picture.
If they'd asked supporters opinions, they could have saved themselves the time and money. Have you ever heard a Luton supporter suggest a naff light show would be a good idea?
