Thing that really fucked me off yesterday, other than the light show, was the amount of people sitting near me that had clearly never been to a football game before.
We needed a turn out from the fans and I had two birds and a lad treating it like a day at the races, who fucked off for a pint as soon as Everton scored.

Group of young Asian lads in front of me who kept saying stuff like 'they don't know ball' and discussing how ripped the lino in front of the enclosure was. I'm glad we're attracting new fans but do they all have to be such cunts?

I didn't even bother with the beer offer before the game, because that concourse is unnavigable at the best of times.

Can anyone with more knowledge than me confirm what happened at the end with that corner?

Why do you need to point out the race of the young lads?

Sadly isn’t what you describe pretty standard for the younger age groups.
        But quite understandable sadly…

Gaslighted by repeated Tory governments, even Thatcher’s lot weren’t a corrupt bunch of charlatans when we compare with the last 14 years.
        Education not what it was.

Like it Cuba,I keep telling everybody we've had the best of it. Youth and their parents will never understand why we enjoyed life without mobiles and social media and read footy match reports in the newspapers.
Pubs were then a normal daily drop in.
Easy to blame it on the current government but look at all the other countries in trouble. Careful what you wish for with Labour and paying more people not to work and Crime now an accepted part of Evil with community service no detterant.

I was at the other end but it looked as though he gave the corner and then the officials decided that it was full time but forgot to let anyone else know. Whilst they are not necessarily right to do so, even if time is up, once a free kick or corner has been given, they normally allow it to be taken.

As I said, I was at the other end so it may have been something else. The BBC reporter on their website didn't know what was happening.

Was down the other end. The ref signalled a corner, but then straight after blew and signalled for full time. Immediately after Berry and Pickford squared up to each other which meant it wasn't that that obvious what happened if you missed the full time signal.

Was fair enough really. He was right to allow additional time for our corners and free kick as Everton had taken at least a minute to take a corner during added time, but we had already played at least an additional minute and a half or two.

We had 2 corners and a free kick beyond the minimum 6 minutes added. When he blew the full time whistle (after signalling for a corner) the clock showed just over 8 minutes added. You don’t have to let a corner be taken and you can’t just keep playing indefinitely (unless it’s a big 6 team benefitting!)

That's why I said "Whilst they are not necessarily right to do so". At first, I thought that the lino had seen something and was going on to help the ref. Logically, he should have signalled full time rather than a corner but we are talking about Tim Robinson who, as I posted yesterday, blew for full time at West Brom after a player went down injured two minutes before the end of the time that he had signalled and was still being treated with no further play.

I was in the enclosure down the other end and I thought the same as well.

He allowed 2 set pieces after the 6 mins, then it looked like he blew for the corner, but then changed his mind and blew for full time. Everton fans were celebrating but everyone else just looked confused.

Dyche was going mental to the 4th official when he gave the corner
