In his press conference today he said they need to know the outcome of the appeal ASAP, ‘ we need to know do we have 30, 29 or 28 points?’ . Given they are currently on 26 that suggests that he is expecting 2,3 or 4 back.
To stop the constant speculation getting to me, I've just accepted they're getting 2 pts back now and if they don't it will be a bonus. Complete farce of a process and acts as zero deterrent to any clubs taking the unsustainable Forest approach in the future.
Having just read the detailed conclusions of the panel’s conclusions, I can see how carefully judged were GS’s comments on video last week. To point out, specifically, the goals scored against us by Chris Wood and what points they carried, along with his transfer fee was carefully intended to influence the appeal panel IMO. I hope it’s worked and would read nothing into comments from managers. I’m actually quite drained by this season and look forward to it all being over!
Theres part of me that wishes we’d just been shit and relegated already to be honest. Because we all know if we go down it’ll be by a tiny margin.and probably on the last day as well.
