    Today's most ridiculous article?

    It will take some beating.

Not only is it utterly ridiculous in what it suggests, what it also shows is the greater imbalance between the wealthy clubs and those struggling. There wouldn't be such a huge difference in points totals if there was more realistic competition. That important point is completely ignored by the article.

What's so ridiculous about it ? If you were a Leeds player or fan would you think it a ridiculous article or, if it had been us last season in the situation Leeds are now in, would you think the article ridiculous ?

As Thatcham said below, yes and yes.

It's ridiculous to suggest the number of teams promoted/relegated should be fluid to reflect their points totals. Would you reduce the number if the relegation bar was really high, say over 40 points?

Really, Really? You can't see the ridiculousness of it?

How about the fact that 3 up, 3 down are the rules and have been for decades? And they were the rules at the start of the season? The article writer is teary just because there will be some low and high points anomalies involved. Which, you know, happens. I assume he supports Leeds and is writing for clicks and BANTZ

What about the fact you compete with teams in your division. Not those above or below? Not a difficult arrangement to understand

And why can't Luton celebrate if we stay up even though we've conceded over 80 goals?

The article is laughable and if Luton were in Leeds's* position and the prem was resolving like it is, I'd be saying the same

*The same Leeds that have completely shit the bed this last month and only have themselves to blame.

Leeds owe £190 million in transfer fees due this summer !

Ticktock, love to see leeds suffer again !

              Yep, absolute bollocks.

Must admit after all the hype and arse-kissing going on, I'm quite looking forward to Ipswich falling flat on their faces next season.

I'm not sure they will, McKenna is a very impressive manager. They definitely need to tighten up defensively, but they're a damn good side. More likely Leicester go back down, certainly if they have a points deduction and/or have to sell their best players.

I don't think it's unfair to say that we timed our exit from the Championship last year well. This year's edition is far more skewed by "big" clubs with parachute payments than last year's was.
