    Hashioka

Posted by Herts Hatter on 27/4/2024, 20:18:44

Not sure what to think about him. I do see his energy and endeavour as being positive but he has clearly been put into the starting 11 too early and is in no way suitable for PL football. Second goal was just rank bad defending. Going forward he really is not very good at all - Kabore was far better in that respect. I hope he is given the summer to fully bed in as perhaps he could be useful in the Championship but personally I would avoid starting him again this season.

He’s too lightweight and out of his depth currently but doing the best he can

Giles not even starting for Hull but is a better defender. We made ourselves weaker in the window.

Quite simply he needs a preseason, then we will see what he can or can't do

Assuming he stays. Will tear up the championship next season.

Screencao this so I can be right.

Also if George is lurking. Stuart's Lad says hello

Did you miss the bit where RE said that Kabore’s injury has put him out for the rest of the season?? If he was fit I doubt that Hashioka would’ve started.

Seeing as we are at the point of hoping our only winter signing might be useful in the Championship, you have to question our recruitment last January even more.

I have no idea why we have signed Hashioka.

yeah I think you could maybe justify him as a summer signing on the "take a chance and see how it goes" basis but the January window felt like the time to bring in an established player in English football - even top end Championship

                    LTST or LLSC?

Is there much point raising it with loyal Luton? Gary doesn’t take Kev seriously and largely ignores anything he proposes, asks him or tells him

LTST are even more up Gary's arse.

I'm seriously considering my LL membership tbh, can't remember the last time I had any communication from them.

MG sorts out the piss ups, and that's probably the supporters club now...

If GS wasn’t a Luton fan I would imagine many more would be asking many more questions.

I can find nobody willing to field or answer a question on the ground timescales.

A year ago finances were in place. Then we were told we couldn’t spend much on transfers because we were changing the design and using money for new “features”.

Almost a year later we get told at a fans forum that the build won’t start until 2025.

                                  Where is the transparency?

This just causes rumour and disagreement when it shouldn’t be this difficult to be straight with people.

But GS is a Luton fan. And not just any old fan. He, and others worked their arses off saving this club from extinction. He's not perfect and he's been learning on the job but I think he's hit enough credit in the bank for a bit longer don't you think? Or would you rather he was bought out by some yank chancer or middle eastern oil Barron selling our soul

I’d just like him to update ALL the fans on the ground situation.

                                    That is all.
