Happy with defeat some are..sensible folk realise that better recruitment..no not spending millions..more tactical awareness..the end result could have been so different..took an age in non league to get here..going out with a whimper

Why go on about the non league days? Not like you were there, is it?

Look you simpleton, no-one is "happy" with defeat.

But your fantasy football idea that you can magic up players that would have been likely to make a big difference is just that. Fantasy.

The only thing spending in January *guarantees" is that you will have less money. We could have found two more players who also got injured or didn't perform. Equally we might have got lucky, who knows? But pretending that there was some kind of easy choice to make is plain wrong.

Some of us just live in the real world.

Exactly, I am so proud. We have come so far in such a short time and managed to achieve the impossible. £170 million richer, new stadium secure and the club being run by decent owners.

Plus 27/05/2023 - what a day and what memories.

2020 are 100 million richer. To date no evidence it's going to be I vested in the playing staff, which is what the whole point of professional sport is.

And also zero evidence that the new stadium is secure either. Be happier when they actually announce a timeline.

2020 are not 100 million richer at all.

And I hope you are ready to own up to this shit when that stadium is built.

Very happy to. Just have no idea why, unlike any other but sling project, they are unable to give a timeline.
