I used to get narked by people leaving early, but as the years roll by and you count the amount of rubbish seasons you've endured, the awful games you've watched, I say it's up to them, don't judge. I'm also proper tight, and if I've paid for a game I'm seeing all of the damn thing whatever.....
Spot on. Fans pay their money it’s up to them. They’ve paid for the whole game. It’s their choice. I don’t understand why people get so worked up about it. Fans show emotions in different ways. Think everyone should respect that.
I can see both sides, kind of. In a season where we are at our highest level for ages and ages and the team have put in a fantastic effort to achieve something quite remarkable, personally I think they deserve every bit of support they get.
And we know that there are people desperate to come and watch so maybe for some it's hard to hear about people who don't want to watch the games and give the team a reception at the end regardless. The players have commented many times how this gives them a boost. And there have been plenty of posts on here about fans of other teams not showing much support or leaving early in droves.
But yes, as consumers you pay your money you take your choice. I'm not sure I have to "respect" that so much as understand that's just the way that it is.
Sometimes your travel home is tight on time. Once the game is beyond the lads, leave a bit early to ease travel stress. Fans travel from all over, did stay though and supported the lads, slagging them off achieves nothing. Keep the faith.
I remember one time in the conference -can't remember what away game it was, for reasons that will become apparent - we left the pub at 3 and got to the ground some time before half time. Got in and Luton were 1-0 down. Watched a bit then went to the bar. Came out half way through the second half and Luton were still losing so we all went back to the pub.
