    Reasons to be optimistic tomorrow

So, the last of the really difficult fixtures on paper and, also on paper, we should get an absolute mullering.

However, man city already worried about an injury hit squad so will surely look to wrap some of their squad in cotton wool.
The Champions League is more important to them than winning the Premier League.
They will feel that having beaten us twice already this season, both away - the most recent second being our heaviest defeat of the season - the will hopefully feel a bit complacent. They won't like our up and at 'em approach. The Etihad is effectively a library.

    My prediction:
Man city 1 (Sealey of 90+4)
    Rip Roaring Hatters 4 (Wegerle 2, Newell 45+1, Zahani-Oni 48, Benson 90+1)

I appreciate you are being tongue in cheek but of course we will lose - the aim is to keep the score down and maintain the positive vibe going in to next week

I’ve just had a look at their results this season. A draw at home with Crystal Palace. They lost to wolves. Two draws with Chelsea. They’ve struggled to score and scraped past Newcastle, who we’ve put 4 on and beaten.

We’re in this league on merit. Yes, they’re a top class side packed with all the money cheats could wish for, but we’re here becuase we’re good enough to compete as that’s how the league ladder works. We may lose, they might get 6 again. It’s not completely impossible that we do a wolves on them. But sure as shit the team will compete.

Betfred have got Morris at 16/1 to get the first goal. There are fifteen City players at a shorter price than that.

Haaland is 2/5 to score at any time in the game.

Not surprising really. But maybe worth a cheeky flutter if one was that way inclined. I'm not just for clarification.

A strange one on the Betfred coupon. 0-0 is 33/1. No goalscorer in the game is 40/1. If anything, no goalscorer should be marginally shorter than 0-0 as 1-0 with an own goal would be a winner on no goalscorer betting.
