    Injury crisis

That's Pep not us - talking about the Rodri leaving them in "a lot of trouble" if he has to be rested, because of their own defensive injuries.

Oh and Mengi and Burke are doubtful for tomorrow, along with Kabore not eligible. No biggie at all.

With Mengi and Burke, it may be a case that they would play if it was a must win game, but no chances will be taken as it’s not. Possibly an element of talking up the injuries to justify leaving them out (or at least I hope so!). If neither of them play, could the line up be:

      Kaminski

      Townsend
      Hashioka
      Pelly
      Johnson
      Doughty

      Clark
      Barkley
      Berry
      Chong

      Morris

For the first time this season (in the league) it could get very ugly tomorrow. Just hope City rest a few and declare at 3-0 but they'll want to improve the goal difference as it might come to that for them

Hope Brighton, Wolves, Sheff Utd, Liverpool and, it pains me to say it, Chelsea win this weekend and we avoid a complete hammering

            What a nightmare.

I think Chong will play LWB, with maybe Clark at RWB?

              Goodness me.

It dawned on me a few weeks ago that we're trying to survive in the PL with a patched up side that would struggle to survive in the league below.

                That’s the spirit….

For me Osho is the interesting one, not clear why his bruising still hasn’t healed.

Fully expect 2-3 more back next weekend though. There comes a time when needs must.

No need to risk tomorrow, we have enough to beat City if Rodri is out.

Rumour is he's refusing to play through injury so he can secure his move in the summer

Someone who was at the open training day quoted him as saying that he'd be back for the Brentford game. Where have you heard your rumour in a non-speculative way?

                      Yes I heard that too.

                      Dunno just online somewhere.

                      Perhaps both could be true

Mengi by his own admission has been playing through a knee injury for the past few games

The side we put out last weekend would be comfortably in the top half of the Championship imo

I hope common sense will prevail and that City are allowed to make an emergency signing or three to see them through this tragic time
