Only true for a couple of days in January. You idiot.
Also temperatures from 1945 to the mid 70s actually dropped, how is that possible with the world working overtime with their manufacturing, pumping out all that CO2?
We are coming out of a mini ice age, so the world is going to heat up.
Notice how they say its been the hottest month/summer/spring etc SINCE RECORDS BEGAN, as they have only been recording temperatures for the past 200 years, what about the other 4.5 billion years of data.
The real truth is that we are cooling, & CO2 levels are at a dangerous low. Without CO2 there would be no life.

We could stop all CO2 emissions immediately and the world will still continue to warm for another 50 years or so.

Here you go Anon
The biggest factor affecting Earth’s climate is the sun. Why not take a look at Serbian astrophysicist Milutin Milankovich, for whom Milankovich’s climate theory is named, has suggested about how seasonal and latitudinal variations in solar radiation, which hit the Earth in different ways and at different times, have the greatest impact on Earth’s changing climate patterns.
It sounds like you are desperately trying your hardest to convince yourself that Global warming is a made up phenomenon. You don't fool me mate.

Amuses me that these denial oddballs appear in the middle of the night, make claims and quote sources that don't cover the whole subject - in this instance a man who has been dead for 65 years, pre-dating much of the change caused by deforestation, for instance, and intensive farming.
Perhaps they don't realise that like all aspects of life, complexity is key?

So we don’t believe in the hype and we don’t want to pay more taxes to governments/corporations to make the world cooler/hotter/ less windy/ windier/less storms/rainier/drier etc (delete as applicable).
And you call us oddballs!
Google. Climate predictions scientists past. Look at the amount of scaremongering from the 60s and the 70s. These people rely on fearmongering to keep themselves in a job.

Edited your post down to what I imagine you actually mean:
Certainly if you don't understand the rate of deforestation and how that is causing issues.
Certainly if you don't understand that it's not just the global temperatures that are an issue but the degredation of the natural environment that is occurring.
On the temperatures . . . it's the rate of change that is key here, not the actual temperatures per se.

If you genuinely think global warming isn't occurring then you must be living in cloud cookoo land. All the scientific, meteorology, and anecdotal evidence tells you it's happening at an alarming rate.

Shhhhhh. You’re not meant to talk about the Earth’s population almost trippling in the last 60 years.
Re: Arctic Sea ice

The climate has always changed and carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. We are at the lowest levels of CO2 in Earths history. 40% rise in the last 150 years is peanuts. In natural terms it was warmer than today for at least 95% of the last 10,000 years. For 90% of the time since creation, the earth has been warmer than it is now. Carbon Dioxide levels follow temperature rises, they are not the cause. There is nothing bad about Carbon Dioxide, the more the better.

If we are the warmest point in the last few hundred years, what caused it to be so hot back then?

Scare mongering?!?? Are you for real? Try asking those in low lying countries who regularly get flooded or indeed places like Tewkesbury here in the UK that get flooded far more frequently due to changing weather patterns affected by global warming. And even anecdotally surely most, if not everyone, can remember harsher winters than what we get more recently. For instance no snow again this winter here in Dunstable. And there's the destruction of the rainforests, depletion of coral reefs, melting of the ice caps, hottest UK temperature ever recorded by some distance in summer 22 etc. But go ahead with your head in the sand. I'm sure you're children, grand children and great grandchildren etc. will be pleased you were just a skeptic and ignored what any sane person can plainly see.

The world’s population has grown 300% in the last 60 years. Yes, in relation to the 2 million or so years that man has been on the Earth , it’s a blink of an eye. Now where have we built abodes for these people? I know there’s a large open piece of land, let’s build on it…. Come on man, work it out, it’s not hard.
