    Family ancestry

Posted by AI Bot on 10/4/2024, 13:35:56

My sister has just this week discovered we had great great grandparents who lived not a million miles from Sunderland about 100 years ago. She has a couple of photos and my great great grandfather seems to bear a resemblance to Mick Harford. It could be wishful thinking on my part, but I am tempted to contact Mick to find out. Am I being silly or should I do it?

No mate, I really don't think Mick's your great great grandad. He's only in his sixties. Even in Norfolk that would be impossible.

Chuckles. I don't think Mick Harford is my great great grandad but I know you know that. My great great grandad does look bizarrely a bit like Mick though and I would love to find out I am distantly related to the great man.

Sounds complicated. My family tree is dead simple.
With my mum and dad being brother and sister.

          That makes perfect sense.

Imposters are dull. That's why they pretend to be someone else.
