    Sheffield United - king makers

I didn’t appreciate that they have to play each of our direct rivals in their remaining games.

They have improved significantly since the Arsenal drubbing.

    I wonder.

Very difficult to predict sides once they’ve been relegated. Some cases pressures off and they can play freely
However. They’ll be players there playing for their future contracts might be up in June.

Wouldn't hold out too much hope.

History shows that teams have a strange habit of shitting the bed against Everton towards the end of a season.

Very hard to play against at home. Same can be said of Burnley.

Playing away, alas a different story.

They played very well against us. Without pressure and took advantage of our nervousness.

I thought this too, and for all Chris Wilders perceived limitations as a manager he's not the sort to let his team roll over once relegation is inevitable either.

Indeed. A bit like Clough in 1990. If ever there was a team's manager you want a rival to play against when you need that team to lose (as were Sheffield Wednesday in 1990 when we needed them to lose at home to Nottingham Forest) then Wilder and Clough would top the list.

One other point here. There’s money at stake for where you finish. And no one will want to finish bottom either.
