    To a man excellent today.

Started well, but then there was a bit of a lull, as acknowledged by Edwards, after, and pretty much until they scored.

Their goal woke us up though (fans and players) and we went a bit more direct, which helped. Great finish from Clark and same from Morris, who did well to out muscle their Cb.

Bournemouth looked a danger on the counter in the first half but after Semenyo and Tavernier went off they seemed to lose a bit of that threat.

Mengi and Burke were class, and Kabore had his best game for us.
I felt Barkley was trying to do a bit too much by himself at times but equally sometimes he lacks the support.

Clark grew into the game and deserved his motm in the end.
Berry and Fred did well when they came on. Berry is just a nuisance and always a goal threat.

Don't want to critique after the result, but I thought Chong and Townsend tried hard to little effect.
Townsend seemed a yard too slow, and everyone knows he's going to cut in onto his left.
Chong might be carrying an injury but he just didn't seem switched on at times - example being the knock down to him that he just didn't anticipate just before he went off. That said, he did have our best chance of the first half.

Hashi looked better at rwb. Not sure what his overhead kick attempt was all about but it was amusing at least. He seems to have a decent cross on him.

    Anyway
A great result that gives us a chance and restores some optimism. What a club

I thought we had taken the initiative from the start of the second half, we'd had several efforts on goal before they scored.

Otherwise I very much agree, just hope some of those other players can defy expectations and make it back.

Yes Woodrow was quality when he came on.

He did well defending in front of the enclosure against against outawaara as well, and put himself about well

Berry seemed to be playing in a very advanced role .... much further forward almost alongside Morris ..... Glad he was.
