....but it could be Monday or Tuesday.....

    Just posted: https://www.everton.news/finance-expert-suggests-everton-could-be-docked-points-by-the-premier-league-tomorrow/

Copy below if you can't be arsed to click-through:

Talking on the Price of Football Podcast, Maguire suggested a verdict could be announced on Friday.

“The second hearing has taken place, and we are anticipating a verdict published, I think, possibly Friday, but probably more likely on Monday or Tuesday,” he explained.

On what he expects to happen regarding the Premier League’s punishment, he added: “With regards to the verdict of the commission, the losses are higher than anticipated. I think the expectation in terms of a points deduction are not as positive as I was feeling.”

Three point deduction, suspended for three months because as their latest accounts show they're trying really, really hard.

The panel also took into account Andy Burnham's feelings (one point reduction) and the fact they've been getting such a raw deal from referees (ten point reduction).

So basically he doesn’t know. It’ll probably be next week given Everton play Burnley on Saturday and they delayed the Forest announcement cos they were playing us.

I don't understand that logic at all.

What has the fact that Everton play Burnley on Saturday got to do with anything?

The first paragraph of the article is clearly muddled. It should say the hearing was 25-27 March, not April.
