Defensive midfield

Really exemplified last night how much we are missing a natural defensive midfielder - there was a big hole in front of the back 4 again and again and also it was the issue with us losing the ball up the field and within seconds they are at our back line. This was a problem in the championship too which is why we signed Marv. It looked like Lokonga was starting to fill that role really well and we know what happened next. It is probably our single biggest problem right now. People are going to laugh but I wonder if Woodrow could play there? He actually seems to tackle quite well and being a forward player would naturally try to read the game and understand how opposition attacks build up.
