    Hashioka

Considering he was destroyed during the Bournemouth game, he showed great strength of character to have a very good game tonight. He’s shaping up to be excellent next season.

I like him - energetic and direct. Also seems to have avoided the mindset of dallying with the ball which a lot of our players have developed since the start of the season. He gets it and then lumps it. He is far too small to play in the centre of defence - needs play full back - hopefully Osho can come back

The fact that Barkley passes to him a lot shows that the trust is already there.

Ideally we find a place for him if Burke and then Osho do come back as I think he will do better in a deeper midfield role than Pelly now. His passing last night was excellent, particularly in the second half, finding Fred and Kabore with ease.

Hashi could end up being the new James Milner, having players who can play in a variety of positions is crucial to squad strength.

You can tell he's a right back and is trying gamely to learn how to play centre back while Premier League strikers spin him around. He looked decent and bright on the ball in the second half tonight when he got forward, and when he came on versus City at home in the Cup in his natural position.

Was excellent tonight. Very unlucky with the OG.

I can only assume you’re from the school of fan who was writing Morris, Barkley and Lokonga off after their first three games.

Sorry could not disagree more. Caught ball watching Tim's and again and has no physical presence.

                  Watching Tim's what, exactly?

Oh, and after this don't expect to be taken too seriously.

He did ok. Shame his shot was blocked. Looked like
It was going to rip the net out!
