Overall losing 2-0 is not the worst result. We grew into it a bit, helped by Arsenal declaring at 2.
Fred did well, broadly, considering he's not a RWB and is just returning from injury to play at a higher level. He did better as we attacked, and did very well to jinx past 2 and win a corner at one point.
Pelly could've done better for their goal but the pass into him wasn't great. Really we (Doughty) should be reading that situation and seeing Pelly had a man on him and Arsenal had 3 men forward to pressure as well and should've just played it up the pitch.
Clark had a great game I thought, good on the ball and worked hard. He works well with Barkley, who I thought we good as well.
Morris struggled but he was up against two of the best CBS in the league.
Hashioka has a decent cross on him, could be a threat in the coming games.
Mengi is absolute quality.
Overall not the worst outcome from the Tottenham and arsenal games. Need to get points on the board now though, starting Saturday.
