    Injury crisis but why ?

Is it just the sheer pace and work rate difference of games.

Or… are we working too hard on the training pitch? As I take my disabled friend to games were there early every game. We come out to warm up 15 mins before any other team we have faced. And 99% of the time go back in after them

We have to work harder than other teams to compete, Our players arent as technically gifted. (that isnt a slight a slight on our players..but they didnt cost 100 million) so the game plan is to overcome that issue by working harder. Much harder, I see Harland has ben getting stick for his all round game when its not put on a plate for him to illustrate this.

The 15 minutes makes no difference. Its the intensity. Plus luck. Plus the fact we don`t have a bench costing 250 milion to slot it and rotate. Possible our players get injured more as they are more likely to bust a gut. Couple have also been injured on international duty. It is what it is.

I agree I think it’s more to the pace of the games and work rate without the ball

But was just a question based on newcastle today saying they are going to hold an investigation to there injury crisis and what’s effected it

We came out the same 15 mins early all last season also and under NJ so must be something our sports scientists are saying is correct but can we be the only ones right and every team for 2 years wrong ?

I`ll have to take your word for the 15 minutes bit I`m afraid. But not sure how that is relevant to injuries. I`m not a physio though. The 15 minutes sounds more like a metal thing than a physical one. Majority of injuries seem to be hamstrings, which arent something you risk as much is a warm up i`d have thought as you aren1t stretching as much. To balance that to an extent..muscles work in pairs..so in theory you should do as much on you hamstrings as your quads...but its is more difficult to build those up. Squats etc fine for quads. Only thing i can think of for hamstrings is dead rows..and even that is more stretching than building.
