He's absolutely correct though. Starmer cheering on Israel's collective punishment should be a clear red line. I quit in November after nearly two decades in the party.
Labour has been taken over by a really nasty element and I honestly dread what's to come in the next few years when people realise that Starmer doesn't intend to do anything to fix the mess the Tories have made of the country. Turbulent, grim times ahead. I voted Starmer in the leadership election and have never regretted anything more.

I never got a vote, I complained and heard nothing. Stammer doesn't sit well with me I don't trust the slime tbh. The country is in a state and is getting worse by the day, if the Tories fluke the next election then the place is just going implode. I'm hoping more than knowing that Labour changes the country for the better because if they don't then we are really heading for a total collapse on so many fronts and it isn't going to bode well for a peaceful future for any of us. I'm toying with the idea of coming out of the Labour Party as it is not pursuing the ideals I thought it once had.

I can live with him not being a socialist, there sre different parts of the Labour Party. Gordon Brown wasn't a socialist either and I joined when he was leader. But endorsing what was clearly a plan from the Israeli military to commit a genocide in retaliation for the Hamas raid was something else. Less a political issue for me than a moral issue.
