      Reg Pearce born 12/1/1930 is the oldest surviving LTFC ex player.

        Wasn't Billy Bingham the oldest surviving Northern Ireland international until his death? If so, that is quite a record for a club with so few internationals to have, within a short space of time, the oldest for three of the home countries.

            Couple of good uns mentioned here. Reg Pearce as I recall was transferred to Sunderland for a fee in the mid £20,000s and it was thought that the up-and-coming Dave Pacey could take his place. And Mick, some would say was easily the equal of Bingham and even French. Although always playing on the right wing his one Scottish cap was on the left, probably why he only got the one.
