I thought he'd said he was definitely out ... either way the point is that players can and do make "miracle" recoveries between press conferences and 2pm on Saturday.

He definitely described him as ‘touch and go’, which turned out to be pretty accurate considering he lasted 5 minutes.
RE is usually very direct and truthful when it comes to injuries,m; the only time I’ve recalled him misleading the press, was with regards to Pelly, pre Watford, when he stated he ‘was back training, but had no idea how soon he’d be back playing’.
I’m hoping it’s a similar tale for Sambi, but I’m not holding my breath.
