    Mental Health

A lot of unnecessary references on mental health recently.

Latest being most unhinged poster poll. Other examples include calling people mental, loon, pussy, mental scum etc etc etc.

We can disagree on the match, and the club, but no need to use such language.

This board responds well to people when they share that they are struggling with their mental health. Bit at the same time it is toxic in using mental health as a slur.

This clubs means so much to so many people, we all react in different ways.

Although it would appear only one way is acceptable and hence all the name calling.

Both the op and this initial response are absolutely spot on!! Some of the nonsense on here with name calling etc including from some well respected and established posters is pretty poor stuff, yeah disagree with people and maybe say you feel the opinion is ill informed but to be openly calling out mental health or general intelligence is in fairly poor taste, the bigger person ignores!! I’m sure it’s been regularly highlighted on here but the Norwich city fc mental health video is as good as it gets in terms of getting the message across, I openly sobbed when I first saw it, including jn front of my two teenage children who were as quiet and reflective as I’ve ever seen them. Let’s hope we all continue to try our best to look after each other as best we can
