Last Night

Having slept on it, I think that last night was the death knell of our fight to stay up. Leading 3-0 at half time and then losing is probably the 45 minutes that will define the season. Up until then I was cautiously optimistic we would pull it off - not any more.
The seeds of this were sown in January. I know that people are saying that isn't the case, but we came out of the window with a 25 man squad that realistically was a 21 man squad - Potts, Lockyer, Nakamba and Anderson were realistically not going play again - Anderson maybe. Any sort of injury issues were going to mean the situation we are now in - 2 keepers and 3 youngsters on the bench with no depth or experience for the moment like yesterday when we were pegged back to 3-2. Anyway we are where we are.

Will definitely be tough, but even if we draw on Saturday, Forest could still be 3 pts behind us by the time we play next with the looming points deduction. Get some players back fit and have a good run at the last 6 games, you never know. It really, really stings today but it's not over yet.

Yep. It's not the defeat, it's the manner of it. Fair fucks to RE if he gets the lads up after that as mentally it will have knocked them for 6 I imagine.

Whilst you can blame it on the injuries it is in fact that RE is a poor tactical manager These defensive lapses haven’t just started they have been here at the start of the season and nothing has been addressed to rectify them

That doesn't mean he still cant get things wrong. IMO he is still way in credit but mistakes have been made.
