    Four at the back

The 3 at the back has served us well and I wasn't in favour of changing it up till now but I think it might now be necessary.

Doughty and Kabore are key to our attacking play and so get caught forward too much, exposing is in the inside right and inside left channels.

It's a difficult one because if those 2 play fullback in back 4 their attacking threat is diminished and I don't think we have any alternatives. At that point you need a DM who can sweep in front of the bankline and drift into full back if they are caught forward.

I’m so disappointed with Pelly at the moment. We all know he can give the ball away with a poor pass, but he doesn’t seem to be able to get up to the pace of the game defensively either. Whilst he didn’t do anything terrible this evening, he was like a rabbit in the headlights at times as they came at us.

To be fair he probably wasn’t the only one, but I expected more from him.

That’s probably the only team we can play Sat if no-one is back. Though Chong may be injured, in which case Townsend comes in. Hope Sambi is fit.
