Lovely place. A must to do the old town and the castle. As someone said also lindos cracking bars but a bit pricey,also lovely cove at kolymbia

Never been either but booked up for 5 days in June followed by a 7 day cruise from Athens to Barcelona. Roll on sunshine 🌞😀

Yes, great place, but don't just stay in Rhodes Town, visit Lindos and the south of the Island. Rhodes Town does tend to become overrun with tourists from enormous cruise ships docking at the port.
If you do go to the south, be careful of the public transport, which does not always go both ways each day.

Stayed in Pefkos last year on Rhodes island. Absolutely gorgeous. Will probably go back this year again.

Went there many years ago, really enjoyed it. My son and daughter-in-law were there about three years ago, had a great time. Nice beaches, good food and drink, lots of interesting places to visit. The old town of Rhodes is very scenic, many other fascinating historical sites around the island. A boat trip to Samos/Pedi from the harbour in Rhodes makes a great day trip.
