    Mengis Tackle

On Matea , right in front of me and the cleanest tackle anyone could make, Matea then screams in abject agony clutching his shin, and the Ref books Mengi.

Football at times is utter shite

It was on Munoz, no idea who Matea is ... And Mengi wasn't booked.

Still a shite decision. The lino was about 1m away and just gave the easy crowd pleasing call, as always.

It was a great tackle. Unfortunately it was right in front of the linesman who flagged for it crazily. Referee can’t really go against the linesman right next to it. Lino’s fault.

They were both crap linos yesterday.

Obviously the ref didn't see it on this occasion but I wish they would book players more often for that kind of simulation. Obviously there was an exception this season but they normally only seem to do it for dives in the box.

I was watching on Fawa News and it was clearly a dive on TV too. In fairness, I thought Singh had a decent game otherwise - didn’t get much else wrong that I can think of.

Let down several times by his assistant who was awful.

              Was a good tackle.
It's a shame that so many players play the ref in this way.

It used to be a matter of pride to show you are not hurt, now you have even the biggest, strongest rolling around pretending they are hurt.
It is the one of the main reasons supporters of a certain age struggle with the modern game.
Having said that the quality of football in general is far superior to the 70's / 80's.

Although not a fan of var, they could look at these things without stopping a game and hsvevaword in the refs ear if there was no contact.
