    Wimbledon v Franchise

Surely a medal would be an appropriate sanction?

Firstly only MK would be that pedantic to make what is a petty claim like that. They are really peed off that AFC Wimbledon rose from the ashes of the demise that MK inflicted on them.

Secondly Wimbledon should call themselves Real Dons, that would piss MK off immensely

They kind of do, unofficially !

But they're not the 'real dons'. They're a new club.

The reason they were known as the Dons in the first place is that without don they would simply be Wimble. Milton Keynes does not have don in their name. The fact that AFC Wimbledon is not Wimbledon FC has nothing to do with it.

Seeing as Mk Dons are a continuation of Wimbledon FC why shouldn't they use the term 'dons'?

So if we had gone to MK, which was on the cards, and they called the new club MK Hatters you would have been ok with that

They shouldn't exist, that's why they shouldn't use that name, or any other.

Agreed but they do and aren't going anywhere anytime soon(apart from the conference 🤞

On a sidenote I find AFC trying to claim the history of another club as their own laughable.

Obviously, agreed on the first point.

Just can't fathom where you are going with the second. In my view the fans are the most important part of the club, where they have stayed loyal, and the large majority did, that's where the heart and history of the club belongs.

You're looking at it as if it's a fairytale. Facts are old Wimbledon = MK Dons.
                        AFC Wimbledon = new club.

That's not a fact at all, old Wimbledon went bust.

And neither is it any kind of fairytale, the simple fact is that most of the supporters of the old Wimbledon now support AFCW. That's where the real heart of it lies.

If the same had happened to us should I take it that you would be up in MK supporting MK Hats while the rest of us supported AFC Luton Town?

Again, you're going on about supporters. If you refuse to see the facts, I can't help you.
Your 2nd paragraph is just waffle.

And the answer to my question, if it had happened to us you'd be saying the same?

How many Wimbledon residents trek up to Bletchley every other week to watch the Franchise?
