How will Safe standing work for elderly fans surely they can’t be expected to stand for the duration of a game .

I realise you're being flippant but anyway... Safe standing seats have a seat so you can also sit. If that impedes your view aorund 80% of the stadium will remain seated only which should give you enough choice. There are people who also just don't want to sit so it's also right to address these supporters choices too.

I suspect that like when we had terracing there will be parts of the ground that will remain normal seating.

Thank you my friend I appreciate that,although I find it a bit sad that I only got one reply and my question came because I am an Elderly person, I have been a season ticket holder for over forty years as was my dear old Dad ,but never mind times are different today values are different, people nowadays attitude now a days just think I don’t care about you I am one of the lads and I want to stand,if you are to old and not able to stand don’t bother going to the games,remember one thing we will all get old one day if we are lucky, there ended the lesson, no replies from me . Not tried " rail seats " which are called safe standing. You have a seat in safe standing , but you can stand

Am almost 80, so guess qualify as elderly,have some mobility issues. Hated the seats in the Oak Rd. Cramped,difficult access, and others leapt to their feet when anything happened. By the time I got to my feet the incident has passed. Safe standing means I have a barrier to lean on, a seat if necessary,and an uninterrupted view. Much better
