I couldn't care less if we get a new ground. Over 50 years going kr and still love it

I love Kenilworth Road, but we cannot increase the capacity further imo, so a new ground is a necessity.

Sweet mentioned safe standing in the enclosure in his programme notes. Just seems mental when it's already incredibly busy underneath the main stand. I don't bother leaving my seat at half time now, it's just ball ache to get about. I go for a piss and a Bovril at 35 mins.

It's even worse with kids where it's just outright dangerous

All this safe standing malarkey shows that the mew ground is a lot further away in the years then we hoped

Actually, I think it has been stated more than once that the rail seating can be reused in the new stadium. I think the same was said about the steelwork for the Bobbers regeneration.

Plus people can’t stand any level of discomfort these days.

True. It's not just that though, it is just a massive pain now to get about, plus as I said, with smaller kids it's just dangerous.

On that subject, so is the queue to get in if you go in the Kenilworth road end. Crammed and kids at waist height get it worst. I ended up carrying my son while in the queue. Not the worst thing no, but not a great experience for kids. There should be an entrance for concessions imo.

Tbf that might have improved now, if I'm bringing the boy I don't bother with the food stalls and go in the entrance by the bridge. Much easier

But we used to stand in there, what's changed is it just food kiosks

                They've halved the width, effectively.

Kiosks now on the outside, with barriers to block. Yes people used to queue there but not as wide as the barriers.

They've also put barriers on the other side for people to stand. Yes people stood there before, but again, they didn't take up as much room and it was a lot less people as alcohol was sold out the back of the Kenilworth road end, and that one kiosk just inside.

People were arguing with stewards on Saturday because they had to stand past the yellow line as there was literally no space anywhere else

Tbf if he doesn’t watch our games properly and has just looked at recent results, that’s not surprising. In reality we are showing enough to survive but need results sooner rather than later.
