    Bitcoin

Has hit all time high today in GBP, not yet in dollars but not far off. Crypto is going to go bonkers over the next 18 months. Congratulations in advance to those who have already invested, you're about to make some decent returns finally.

Didn't release it hit a GBP ATH, I always look at dollar value and thats very close now. I think it could be 6 figures by the end of the year with all the new US ETF, what do you think?

Bitcoin halving due in about 50 days. Bitcoin historically peaks about 6 months after every halving. Alt coins follow bitcoin trend but are a bit behind so should expect alt coins to be peaking in approx. 8 to 10 months time.

Etf might not have the big effect everyone is predicting in my opinion. The main driver will be scarcity of supply coupled with FOMO (fear of missing out). It will become a bubble and will burst at an unpredictable moment again just like every other cycle. So hedge your bets and try to time it so you get out while still in profit is all I can recommend. Nobody knows for certain but it's obvious the next 18 months will be pretty good.

Yeah I forgot to mention the halving. I got my first BTC during lockdown just before the last halving in May 2020. With the Alts I have been textbook what not to do. I.E I bought Solana at $10 and sold about $25, can even remember why now I think it was James at Invest Answers on YT winding me up or something!

A lot of it is just luck really. But you can get a rough idea of fairly safe bets. I used to listen to BitBoy FFS! These 2 have been very accurate in their predictions though:

Have a look on coinmarketbase.com to see trends of everything. Click on the headers to see biggest gainers over 1hr, 24hrs and 7 days. Biggest gainers at moment are all the meme coins, ridiculous gains on those but they will be highly volatile. Best bets long-term are any of the top 15 by market cap. As a general rule Bitcoin gains are followed by alt coin gains a couple of days later. I'm mainly in on XRP which has been stuck on 50p for ages but has the potential to go ballistic within the next few years if it does replace the entire traditional money system which it very much could. My best result so far has been a few Solana bought at average £20 each. Currently just over £100 and likely to go to double that during this bull run.

End of day only invest what you can afford to lose. You can very likely lose everything but if you don't mind that possibility the gamble is worthwhile because you could also get rich.

I used Binance to get started a few years ago but recently when I had another look there were a load of new restrictions meaning I couldn't wire £ from my bank into my Binance account to buy more. I'm not sure how I can sell in the future either at the moment because of the same restrictions but I will worry about that when I need to.

Also if you have anything get it off the exchanges into cold storage. Otherwise if the exchange crashes you'll lose everything. It's not a regulated market yet so no protection.
