Out of the loop
Posted by Melbourne Hat on 4/3/2024, 3:11:56
I’m very much out of the loop down here in the Colonies.
How desperate is our injury situation? Number of goals shipped recently would imply we have the youth team in defence, but suspect it’s more complex than that.
How does the new lad Hashioka seem? Seems encouraging from the little I have seen and read.
Cheers.

Been missing Lockyer, Osho, Andersen with injuries, Bell has played almost two seasons without a rest in the summer due to internationals, Kabore was away at AFCON. Nakamba our defensive midfield is out for the season, Lokonga has had a recent injury and we are also missing the high the press and aerial ability that Adebayo brings in attack and defence.

We are also missing Brown badly, he is the first line of the high press and we haven’t really been the same defensively since his injury, Brighton aside.
It was always gonna be tight tiddly-bed,we knew that, but it doesn't make it any the less nail-biting, does it? I agree, the facial points thing is crucial, and if Forest get -6 and lose or draw at KR then the future becomes brighter. I think we have the passion to do it, and the players...if injuries don't keep mounting.

It coming down to the wire and us either staying up or going down by 1 point couldn't be more Luton but I wouldn't change that for the world
We've gone full Rocky this season and punched above our weight, given a few a bloody nose and have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Long may it continue even down to that very last match we'll go out swinging.
We've had less bloody noses that I expected,to be honest. Even Liverpool wasn't that bad. The ones I've hated are home to Sheff Utd and Burnley. That shouldn't have happened
