Yet another Glorious Defeat to many in my book and the hard fact is Glorious Defeats wont keep you in the premiership.

I’m a little bit confused.
Do you expect the club with the smallest budget in the richest league in the world to never lose? Or do you just want us to get hammered when we lose rather than fight and scrap in a glorious defeat?
Villa are the fourth best team in the country, with a striker who I suspect will be first choice back up to Harry Kane in the England team. Going toe to toe with teams like that and coming out on the wrong side is nothing to be ashamed of and if we go down it will be because we had the smallest budget and unfortunately lack the depth/ quality to make four changes like Villa did to swing the game. Even against Sheff Utd we shouldn’t really have been favourites given they have two players who together cost more than we have spent on transfers in 30 years!!!
The heart and guts shown by our players and management every single game is absolutely incredible - even when we as fans let our heads drop (hence the meltdowns on here at 2-0), they just keep fighting for our club.
Fingers crossed the things we have learnt in the last few games will see our fortunes turn in the next few games, but Palace, Bournemouth and Forest still have budgets bigger than ours and players better than ours - if they play to their potential we probably won’t win, but if our boys give it everything and their players don’t, we might win. That is the truth of our season as I see it.
At the end of the day, pretty much every fan of every club outside the top 17 of the premier league would swap places with us now. It’s natural to want more in life, but sometimes it’s worth appreciating how very lucky we are.

Well said Ches - the fans played their part today definitely and if we’d put away another chance we would have got at least a point - we were dominant that second half. So unlucky! Team was in disarray that first half after Bell went off - after Tuesday I feared the worst but second half we were brilliant and us supporters made a difference I believe - akin to the Kopp experience but on the other foot!

The atmosphere at start of the second half from us clearly spurred us on, when at 2-0 down it could’ve been flat.
I just do not get the uproar about not signing a random championship standard centre back.
