I know people question me but FFS seriously, who thought we could take this risk…..we will see over the next few games what a poor decision that was. Relying on Ross and Sambi was incredibly short sighted and I know I keep repeating myself but is anyone not curious to why we “fell short”…..

Careful I raised this the other day and the amount of clowns who argue that we couldnt bring in cover as we cant spend more than 50p and theirs no players out their blah blah blah.

Funny when you think players like Keiffer moore have gone to lower league clubs and if we had brought them in we would have had cover rather than relying on the prolific woodrow

God forbid people have trust in our manager (how he's moulded this squad into a tight unit how they run through walls for each other week in week out), our recruitment team (who have consistently identified players who have projected us to where we are now) and our board (who've taken us from non-league to Premier league sustainably and ethically).

You're welcome to you're opinion (and people are entitled their opposing ones) - but those listed above have shown over seasons, years and the past decade that they clearly know what they're doing. What are your credentials - Football Manager?

Running through walls. maybe that's why we have so many injuries...or those we brought in were sick notes anyway..or let's consider the fitness levels..

And yet, our injury levels seem below those of several other Premier League clubs . . .

Another thing we seem to be doing well then despite a significantly lower budget.

Not having anyone to cover such a critical position is a risk.

Marvellous got injured in early December.

It’s now nearly March and we are saying effectively he won’t play again this season.

That’s going to be five months without one of our best players and one who went spent a lot of money on.

                            It weakens the team/squad.

So if wanted to stay up then surely we needed to get more cover in.

Not sure why that is controversial?

                              Ah, right.
Yeah, I'm surprised we got promoted when you see the lack of forethought at the club.
We should have at least three viable alternatives for each position, shouldn't we?
Ok, I'll admit, it'll bulge the 25 man squad rule a bit, but if Everton can dodge the bullet I don't see why we shouldn't.

It's a fair point - we should have cover for the cover.

And cover for the cover for the cover.

And cover for the cover for the cover for the cover.

And cover for the cover for the cover for the cover for the cover.

And .... yeah, you get the idea

It's controversial only in that you keep bringing it up again and again and again. Lots of people, but mostly you, have expressed their opinions many times. Why bring it up again?

We did have cover in that area. In fact, arguably, Marvelous is the cover.

Having three quality central midfielders plus two more adequate ones is perfectly reasonable for a club in our position.

Good point well made sir. However, it was accepted as that's just how it always was but to change the name and not change the actual fruit favoured chewy sweets themselves is just wrong. In fact it's surely against the trade description act? I may write a strongly worded email to email to my local MP.

It's a gamble yes but a calculated one. Being Luton we are just as likely to be in premier league as L1 within next 2 seasons but we will have financial stability and a new stadium, nuclear war and alien apocalypse risks aside of course.
